Mark Showell Interiors has provided interior design services for over twenty years.  In the twenty some year of being in business Mark Showell Interiors has had the pleasure of designing homes along the seashore of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and surrounding areas as well as traveling to homes and home sites in Nantucket, Naples, Florida, Western Virginia, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia.

Mark Showell has seen many changes in design and the services designers can provide to homeowners.  Mark and partnering designer, Julie Metz can help you in many aspects of design.  A design relationship can begin from the ground up or it can begin after you have lived in your home for years and feel the need to change your surroundings.  Mark Showell Interiors has helped clients interview architects, builders as well as landscape architects, forming a team of people who can work on the same page, ensuring what you dream becomes a reality.

The beauty of working with Mark Showell Interiors is the two designers enjoy working as a team.  They are yin and yang so to speak. Mark sees the grand scheme, imagining the antiques and art work he can find to make your home feel as if it has been here for hundreds of years. Julie loves to massage the details, incorporating custom designed needlepoint rugs, attending to the details of trims on pillows and creating drapery treatments to soften your rooms.   Together great things come together.

Please don’t be misled; these two are able to create any environment you would like, modern to magical, whimsical to traditional.  They will get their hands dirty visiting job sites and working out issues with electricians, master carpenters and tile installers.  Mark and Julie can help you with the basics such as carpet and privacy treatments to the finishing touches, finding you the perfect floral arrangement for you entry table.
